'Clare'

Clare was a homeless woman living on the streets in East Oakland. I saw her sitting on a park bench and I wondered how much she relied on faith to make it through the cold nights. Clare passed away shortly after this painting so I painted a cross in her hand perhaps because I find myself to relying on faith to get through as well.
